Congratulations on the sheer fabulousness of skirt! I’ve been a huge fan of the magazine since I first came across it in Charleston several years ago. It’s a smart read and I’m thrilled to have our own version here in Richmond.

Lucky for me, I found your Luck issue of skirt! [January 2008] and I absolutely love what I've seen so far. I live in Virginia on SmithMountainLake. Lucky again. I'm 62 and in charge of our member/guest golf tournament in late May. My mind is on fire wondering how I can work skirt! into my theme, “Celebrating Women.” I fell in love (oh, I'm so easy) with Mayumi Oda’s cover of the Lucky issue. I would love (there I go again) to use that as the cover of our program. Is there any possibility I could use it? What would I have to do? I am excited about finding skirt! It's late in life for me to start realizing my femininity, my gender, my sisters, if you will—and I am embracing it with gusto! Thanks for adding to my arsenal.

We’re thrilled that skirt! has helped you find your feminine gusto! Please contact our staff in Richmond to explore ways for us to be involved in your “Celebrating Women” (you go girl!) golf tournament. We can definitely provide copies of our latest issue and a distribution rack. Unfortunately, we do not have direct contact with our cover artists, but if you visit her website mayumioda.net her information is available. Thanks, and we hope you’ll continue to enjoy skirt!
I have to tell you, I LOVE this magazine! I walked in to grab my bagel and coffee this morning and that's when it grabbed me. I read it word for word and still keep browsing through it. I even linked you to my blog! Finally, the magazine I've always wanted!

I recently picked up skirt! at RSVP, a stationery store near my home. I planned to give it a quick skim, but ended up reading it cover to cover and enjoying every minute of it. I especially liked the advertising, as I am relatively new to Richmond and need referrals and information on everything pertaining to life here. I have read every local publication since we moved here, but find your advertisers more relevant to my life. I have since noticed skirt! at other stores I frequent, (Williams and Sherrill, etc.), and will make a point of picking up future issues. Keep up the good work and thanks for the opportunity to weigh in.
